Learning physics in the kitchen

This pic is not to show how old the kitchen cabinets in this house are or how shiny my steel utensils are- but to share how babies don't have to be 'taught' laws of physics.
He was thoroughly enjoying himself by spinning one of the lids like a top while creating all kinds of (disturbing) sounds with the other utensils, as I prepared my morning cuppa tea. As long as he gave me enough time to prepare my tea, I wasn't complaining!

Truer words were never spoken. I remember my baby brother used to love to play with the utensils the bai had cleaned and left in the basket on the floor.

Love the pic on the banner.

haha, Atri does that all the time. In fact before they can shut the kitchen door, he runs in to get a grip on the basket full of utensils :) He's obsessed with the kitchen as of now!

Haha, why waste money on fancy toys... All the kids I've seen are fascinated by the every day objects around the house..

There are enough toys in Atri's room to make a mini-town, animals and all - but he's only interested in the kitchen :( :(

I like your new banner pic. Beli is the same, now at 21 months she still enjoys banging pots and pans for the noise...And I agree no need for expensive toys!

Thanks Elisa - taken from one of the regional exhibitions. Kids are the same everywhere I guess - they always want momma's stuff.

Nadia- thanks for visiting this space - you seem to have an interesting blog going with lovely pictures!
